I aim to create a friendly and relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy specialty coffee alongside nutritious and delicious vegetarian food. My cafe is available to everyone; whether you’re just passing by, are meeting a friend or doing a fitness class.

Introducing some awesome local businesses that feature in my cafe…

I’m always blown away by the incredible independent businesses we have around us and want to highlight some of the ones that I use:

Tigermoth Coffee Roasters: Coffee is a very important part of my cafe and I was so delighted when Tigermoth Coffee Roasters opened up in Lewes in 2020. Their coffee ticks all the boxes for me: ethically sourced, environmentally friendly, roasted in small batches and incredible flavour.

Seven Sisters’ Spices: As well as using Seven Sisters’ Spices in my cooking I also use their wonderful Dukkahs as toppings on my soups, salads and in my filled pittas.

Mamoosh Bakery: I feel so lucky being able to serve Mamoosh pittas in my cafe. They have a, rightly deserved, brilliant reputation in Lewes. I serve them warmed alongside my soups and also filled with things such as homemade hummus and roasted vegetables.

Infinity Food: The majority of all the ingredients I use in the food I sell comes from Infinity Foods resulting in most of it being organic, fair trade and it is in minimal packaging.

Downsview Dairy: The milk I use in the cafe comes from Downsview Dairy, just a few miles down the road in Laughton. As the milk comes from their own herd of cows and is non-homogenised the whole process of “cow to container” takes less than 24 hours so it’s super fresh.

Laptop Policy:

You are welcome to use your laptop in the cafe but can you please be mindful of the following:

• Please limit the amount of time you are using your laptop to an hour.

• Please be aware of how much space your are using. There are only two tables of four in the cafe, as well as some stalls. If you are occupying a table to yourself and a party of 2 or more come in you may be asked to move.

• Please do not take any business calls

My menu varies slightly from week to week but you can usually expect to find the following:

Breakfast jars: Soaked oats and granola jars with coconut yoghurt & fruit compote.

Grilled Mamoosh pittas filled with either roasted vegetables, hummus & feta or slow roasted balsamic tomatoes with mozzarella, avocado & dukkah.
