Soulfit Newsletters - November 2019 - It's almost party season...

It's been another busy month in the studio...

Looking back at all the ace things that've happened in October, we're not surprised we're a little behind with this newsletter - it's been a bit busy here.

We hosted our first ever Yoga Supper Club in collaboration with Wildwoman Donna Hay; body empowerment yoga teacher Annie Cheadle & our good friends Bun & Bean - a deeply nourishing experience on so many levels. And yes, we promise there will be many more next year.

We also saw the introduction of more dance to our schedule, which has gone down a storm. Our brilliant teachers Gemma, Emily & Sarah, have all brought a completely new dynamic to Soulfit. Dancing makes you feel so damn good, so we're hatching plans to bring lots more to 2020's schedule.

We've also had lots of fun gatherings with our 'pot-luck' supper, Cherry's Halloween yoga and the return of your favourite Boxfit sessions with Gyles - who knew exercise could be so social? We've got lots more planned, so we properly look forward to seeing you over these next few weeks.

Join us for our Yoga Immersion weekend ; Wreath Making workshop or just for one of our sumptuous classes ... we’d love to see you x

We will be closed:

In case you're away over Christmas, and still keen to keep exercising. Here are our Top 5 benefits of Outdoor Winter Training...

  • The Sunshine Vitamin - you need vitamin D from the sun more than ever during these darker months to help strengthen bones & build a healthy immune system.

  • Improvement in Mental Health - research shows a 50% more positive effect on reducing anxiety, tension & stress is achieved by those who train outside.

  • Focus - even a 20-minute walk outside will improve concentration, clarity & focus.

  • Combat SAD - snuggling under a blanket will only exacerbate the symptoms and slow things down physically, whereas being in the fresh air will trigger mood-boosting hormones

  • Burn More Calories - your body is working harder to keep warm outside, which in turn burns more fat and kick starts your metabolic system. Instead of leaving things till January, start with gentle running and walking after nights out or big feasts - you'll be on a fast track to your new year plan, feel the benefits quicker and have more energy.
